Calling All Families!

I am working on 2 exciting projects and need your help!

If you are interested in becoming a "trial family" for one of the two books I am currently writing, please visit the following Yahoo Groups.

Parenting book: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ifmparenting/

Rosary book: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ifmrosary/

I will be taking only 8 families per book, but once the book is finished, these Yahoo Groups will be open to all who want to join.

Thank you in advance!

Cassandra

I'm A Saint! Kits are here!

The new I'm a Saint! kit is now available for only $11.50 - including shipping. These kits include 5 gender specific cutout cards, one blank postcard, one full color Saint book for either a boy or a girl, 5 blank "holy cards" and a blank booklet. This kit opens your child's mind to the fact that God intended him or her to be a Saint, too! Read about the Saints together, and watch as your child recreates 4 of his or her favorite Saints, using the cutout cards, then create a holy card of the Saint. After your child learns a little about what it takes to become a saint, your child will design a holy card featuring him or her as the Saint, and recreate him/herself using the cutout. Then, to really help your child map his/her journey to heaven, you will help your child write his/her own inspiring Saint story! Then use the postcard to show your child how to live the faith and let him/her design a holy postcard to send to someone who needs to hear how much God loves them.

This kit will be available online within the next 2 weeks, so keep an eye out!

Electronic books and more!

Great news! Save money and shelf space and order the electronic versions of the Rosary Quilt Manual and Rosary Quilt Workbook! Only $9 each with unlimited use within your family!

We are also offering the electronic version of the Daily Catholic Planner - a planner/scheduler to help you in all areas of your life! Children's pages, lesson planning, shopping lists, recipe pages, Feast Day planning and much, much more! Print only the pages you need to customize the planner for yourself. Laminate the pages you repeatedly use, or print out new pages daily. Never buy another daily planner again! $7

Lent Calendar: The 40 martyrs of Sebaste will join your child on his/her journey through Lent. As your child successfully completes the Lenten penance of choice, your child draws a happy face on one of the martyrs and places a crown sticker on his head. Laminated claendar allows you to reuse this every year - when the 40 crown stickers run out, just use a dry erase marker!

And check out the pro-life bumpersticker, too! This sticker has generated a very positive reaction from all who see it. We are donating $1 from each sticker purchase to Human Life International - Planned Parenthood's worse enemy! The sticker is also available at a bulk rate to use as a fundraiser for your own pro-life ministry!

CONTEST!!! WIN FREE IFM PRODUCTS!

Intercessories Family Ministry needs your help! We are building a new reference site for Rosary Quilt users to go to to help them teach their children about the Rosary mysteries and the virtues attached to each one. But we can't do it alone - so we are asking you to help us research the Web for new sites. The only rules are:

1. The website must be either Catholic or at least kind to the Catholic Church (no sites that post things against the Catholic faith)

2. The sites must either tie in with the Rosary mystery itself or a specific virtue (no general sites)

3. Only one link per entry (that way your name will be entered more times!)

Links to coloring pages, games, scripture, prayers, Saints, related holy days (ie Christmas for the Nativity mystery, Easter for the Resurrection) are encouraged. And if there are products and or books out there that you think might fit, those count too!

Entering is easy: visit http://www.intercessories-fm.com/ and familiarize yourself with the Rosary Quilt product. Then go to the Rosary Quilt resources page and see what links are already up. Search the web for sites that are related to the mysteries and/or virtues in some manner and are either appropriate for children to view or are excellent resources for parents to learn more about their faith and pass it along to their children.

When submitting your entry, put the Rosary mystery or virtue in the subject line of your email. Put the link in your email and include your first and last name and the email address you would like us to contact you at. All entries must be sent to info at intercessories-fm dot com (sorry - I have to write it out like that to cut down on the spam I receive. There is a link to my email in http://www.intercessories-fm.com/ )
Note: All entries that fall under the above guidelines will be included in the drawing, but not all links may be used on the final site.

From now until midnight January 24, 2009 you will have unlimited chances to enter our drawing! Your only limits are how many sites you are able to find! We will then choose the winners in the following order:

1st PLACE: Rosary Quilt Set
2nd PLACE: Your choice of a Guada-Loopy or our newest product, the Lenten Activity Calendar

We look forward to seeing all of your favorite sites and resources. Happy surfing!

Blessings,
Cassandra and Jay Poppe

2009 Sneak Peek

We will be attending Catholic conferences throughout the country this year - mostly as vendors. As our schedule solidifies, check back and see if we will be in your area. We'd love to meet you!

Make Lent 2009 the most meaningful one yet! Intercessories Family Ministry will be introducing a whole new way to help your children track their penitential progress (and parents too!) Let the 40 Martyrs of Sebaste accompany you on your 40 days of Lent this year with the Lenten equivelant of an Advent calendar! Gives your child a visual incentive to persevere through temptations and stick with his/her penance.

Intercessories introduces the Guada-Loopy! A snuggly piece of fabric that introduces the mechanics of praying the rosary to your baby! Brightly colored, easy for little hands to handle, easy washing and drying care, full of tactile and visual interest - sure to be your baby's beloved security "blankette"!

Italic
The Rosary Quilt Manual and workbook have a new look! Same great contents inside and a great new look on the cover.

Three new books will be released later this year:
5 Steps to Perfect Parenting: on teaching perfect contrition to your child as a form of loving discipline
The Rosary: A Breath of Fresh prayer: on helping busy mothers find a way to pray an entire 15 decade Rosary almost effortlessly as they quickly advance in holiness and virtue
Holy Hospice: on helping ease the transition of a loved one from this world to the next

Advent Prayer Wreath: help your children prepare their hearts for the coming of the Lord with this Advent Prayer Wreath!

Finally - a Rosary Quilt resources site! Find extra information and activities to help you teach your children about the mysteries of the Rosary and the virtues and graces attached to each one, according to St. Louis de Montfort. Have you found a site that has helped you? Let me know and I will add it to our list! This site will be constantly improving!

This is just a sneak peek at what is coming up this year. Keep coming back to check on updates on these projects and many more to come!
